April, a Santa Fe-based makeup artist from the Diné (Navajo) Nation and Kewa Pueblo, holds a BA from Stanford and an MA from the University of New Mexico. With nearly 10 years of freelance experience in the Bay Area and Southwest, she has worked in bridal, editorial, film, and fashion, serving clients like Smartwater and Equinox Fitness. April began her career in the drag community and is passionate about using makeup to transform and honor her clients’ natural beauty.
